Nostalgia... is a weird sensation. The fact that you can have a sentimental relationship with something after years, even decades, sends shivers down my spine. Recently, I bought and completed SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Biking Bottom. Now, the reason I brought up nostalgia was because this happened to be the first video game I ever played, and so finding out that I would be able to play it again after, what, 9 maybe 10 years is a feeling that I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for. The fact that this game could give me the same enjoyment as it did when I was 4-5 is something that very few things can do. If you’re thinking about buying this, I would suggest you do. Not only is it fun for older audiences, but younger ones, and everyone in between. Of course, the game isn’t perfect, having a few minor details here and there, but those didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment and nostalgic trip that is: SpongeBob, Battle for Bikini Bottom.
