Okay we need to stop with these movies trying to rip off “a quiet place”. I understand they maybe trying to follow the success gained by that movie, but come on this is getting ridiculous. What a waste on Stanley Tucci’s talent btw, and the girl playing the deaf kid, wow her acting sucks big time, it’s super laughable.

Another overrated movie directed by an African American director and main casts are African Americans. This white guilt thing is getting ridiculous.

Sooo many loopholes in this ridiculous movie. The story is waaayy ridiculous. The wife died because of a car crash? While she’s being transported in an ambulance? And also the rest of the story is just not believable. Not undermining matthew’s acting but I just think the storyline sucks big time. He wasted his talent starring in this movie. My God the whole thing is laughable. Why didn’t the rescue team got into the forest looking? Instead he needed to crawl all the way to the forest entry to get to them? Why needed to contact the rescue team then if in the end he managed to find the exit?? And of course his walkie talkie fell when he’s crawling up the stairs (right what a big surprise). Smh. And then the first sentence one of the rescuer asked him was “sir? Are you alright sir?” *seeing his body mangled foot twisted blood on his face* 🤦‍♀️ smh just ridiculous. Two hours of my life I won’t get back.

I actually love coen brothers movies but seeing James Franco in this movie alone makes me hated it. I hate him and I don’t understand why the brothers casts a sexual offender (allegedly). He always seems so full of himself and can’t act for real. That’s the only reason I’m giving this movie a thumb down.

Is this an indie movie? I got a feel that this is one very bad indie movie. Where’s the horror? Where’s the thrills? Where’s the scares? Cheap effects throughout. Bad bad scenes filled with poor conversations between the characters. Don’t get it why Netflix bought this one. The one with Lucy Hale in it is so much better. Don’t waste your time.
