My son and I watched the original and enjoyed it. He wanted to watch the sequel, but I was hesitant. I should have trusted my instincts. This movie is just awful. They did such a poor job of casting. The characters and voices were all different. Bastastion and his father were not even close to the original vision. It could have been so much better, but whoever wrote, directed and cast for this story were a complete failure.

So I have determined that these Ancient Alien theorists do not really vett any of these people they interview. They also attribute everything to Aliens. They lose so much credibility. They show even the most outlandish claims. I am intrigued by many of the hypotheses but they lose me when they claim authenticity of stories and documents with no knowledge of how the government actually works. For example tonight they interviewed a "Navy Seal" and the guy claimed to be a"First Lieutenant Commander." There is no such rank in the Navy. That could have easily been discovered by anyone with the simplest research.
