The BBC has totally missed a trick with the new format of Question of Sport. In the past changes were made, different question masters, different team captains, but it was all done organically. What I mean by organically is that the changes were gradual so one team captain was replaced and fitted into the show. This organic change kept the show constant but allows for change in a way that doesn't distract from the whole look and feel of the show. The BBC on this occasion has not only changed the question master, but the team captains as well while also changing the whole format to bear a smudged carbon copy of another light hearted sports quiz on a different channel. I am not blaming the presenters as it is difficult to produce camaraderie straight off, that is built up over time. The BBC has to take the whole blame for this debacle of ruining a good show in the hopes of making it appeal to a younger audience who will not be bothered as they do not watch television. RIP question of sport
