Larry Walker

I liked this book a lot. It paints a picture of a very reticent, but honest young cowboy looking to make his way in life. The terse dialog fit my image of cowboys. The adventures seemed possible although not anything I would ever encounter. The young man's competence in many things was impressive -- making him someone you could cheer for. Makes me want to read the other two books in the triology.
