Although this show is very entertaining, it is also VERY inconsistent with it's "zombification" factors. At the start of the season, people turn into zombies almost instantly after being bitten. As the season progresses, it seems to take more time for the process to complete.
We are also dealing with zombies who have the strength to push through doors no problem, but cant get through a simple barricade of stacked tables and chairs?
The protagonists are also remarkably stupid, considering they recognize these beings as "zombies" (implying they know what zombies are, and as such, should know how to kill them) yet nobodys first instinct is to create weapons to impale the head/neck?
There is a scene in episode 2 or 3 where they use a water hose to repel down to the second floor of the school. They tie knots in it about 6 feet apart to create loops to stick their feet in to be able to climb down safely. Instead, why not turn on the hose, and blast the zombies with the full force of that hose? That much PSI (pressure per square inch) would blow holes into each and every zombie coming their way.
There are unnecessary protagonist sacrifices, really stupid decisions made, and I for one could not fully immerse myself into the storyline based on the sheer stupidity of the protagonists.
This show had so much potential, but should definitely not be renewed for a second season.
