Gobsmacked at how fantastic this movie is and how great an actor the person playing the father is. I did guess the ending about 3/4 of the way but it was still very moving to hear him explain it. Asian fathers are always stereotyped as stoic, non caring just bring home the money and let the wife take care of the children type. But here we see just how deeply they feel about their children's lives and their responsibilities to them. Great writing and acting. Well deserved win.

Liked this much better than The Office. Eclectic characters none of whom are annoying but likable and unpredictable. The critics really got this all wrong. Everyone in the Office was sad, mundane and depressed, and all the situations were completely unrealistic.
