I'm a South African 21 year old lady, with no baby. But I felt, Kenny's pain and anxiety. Her howling and venting carried so much emotion. It gave me a whole new perspective on racism. There war is so popular yet so silent. It is in the "little" people do or say. The way the police officer asked Kenny if Jamal had any scars or a tattoo, going as far as asking if he has a gang name. Racism has left humanity with so many wounds, some that will never even heal. It is how Kenny was so quick to assume that the police officer who stopped Jamal was white, or how the initial officer thought Scott was the Captain. Our minds have been poisoned, whether we realize it or not. In reality one cant even make a comment about certain things without people assuming you possess racism or colourism. This is a monster consuming our sanity and civilian.
