The only enjoyable thing about this game is the voice acting. And since you’re gonna hear it a LOT that’s not a bad thing. I’m doing my best to have given this game a fair shake. But unlike most people, I am thoroughly unimpressed by how the story is presented as well as how the whole thing ends. It is predictable writing to say the least and the repetition of bad writing is just intolerable. I’ve played escape room games since Flash games and I spent much more time enthralled by those mechanics and stories than this. The game gives you conversation prompts out of sync with the telling of the story and confuses it immediately if you deviate from the set path at all. This is not interesting, it is simply tedious. As much as I want to enjoy this title, it needed more work. I get the story of it and the moral, they state it directly when you ask the wife about the zen book! If you disagree, that’s fine, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Maybe it just wasn’t my kinda game. I say try it, but don’t pay!
