It's hard to believe Ron Howard directed this bland, poorly shot and designed film which completely fails to portray poverty and drug addiction in an authentic way. Unlike the excellent source material, the movie is slow, unengaging, and devoid of any truth.

This is the best show on TV. It's smart, funny, true, and the writing and directing and acting are top-notch. Best of all, it's incredibly entertaining.
