Legacies can not be compared to Vampire Diaries nor to The Originals, it can never be. The show lacks of charismatic characters, a lack of chemistry between the actors and actresses. The special effects are terrible and the story plot is not well thought out, with no explanations. When you take two series that were strong with great acting and great scenarios and then you have the product of the series Legacies which is very poor in all aspects, than you can not expect it to be a very interesting show. Julie Plec has milked out everything out of the world of vampires, hybrids, werewolves and witches and is now grasping at straws with bad decisions by bringing dragons and gargoyles instead of introducing the idea of maybe hybrids from the past of the Mikealson’s, of werewolves and maybe another species or breed. Vincent from The Originals would have brought something special to Legacies, give it more of a darker twist. There is not heart to this show and I think Julie Plec is done and CW should part ways with her and not broadcast a series with no future. It is my opinion and hopefully one day someone will produce a show that can bring us satisfaction with the world we grew to love with The Originals and a bit of Vampire Diaries.
