I could not put down this book! The first night I read until 3:30 am. It reads like a thriller and it is beautifully crafted. You really get to know the characters. The discussions of the creation of the opioid crisis, as well as of the details of how greed can make even good people ignore the huge consequences of their behavior are compelling. Human nature is an indirect "protagonist" of this marvelous book
