Some of it is very good plot & the writing Between Jeff Bridges and Amy Brenneman is clumsy i’m borderline silly. I was hoping to like it a whole lot more than I do

I thought it was quite good but I don’t understand winning the Golden Globe. I just don’t buy the premise That this young soldier ran through all of what he went through in this movie. But then at the end it said it is based on stories told from Sam Mendes’ uncle And when I look back at the movie through that lens, it kind of changes it for me because the movie looked like how someone might have looked back on his experience.

It’s interesting and timely, written well with excellent performances all around. I don’t see why Reese Witherspoon’s character is considered controversial, other than how she gets hired in the first place. She is the pretty white female sitting next to another pretty white female. It’s the status quote. But That does not detract from the power of the somewhat imperfect story or of the message it’s sending. Is it is Is it is this a perfect show? Plaza abound. But Aniston and Cudup and Harden Make the show very watchable and one of my most recent guilty pleasures. I was about to give it four stars but it’s giving me five stars full of pleasure
