I never thought I'd be happy for having watched "Nocturnal Animals". Well, now I am, because I learned the lesson to quit watching something if by 15 minutes in, you just know there is no way to fix it. This was so unnecessarily gruesome, because there was not enough back story or congruence to make you want the "hero" survive. I just thought after the first two horrid decisions by "the victim" that she deserved what she had coming for being so dumb. Then, I was like "OK, you're on your own"
