I grew up playing the run and gun style of Call of Duty. Lots of action, quick respawns and epic montages from skilled players. This move towards the battle royal is to compete with Fortnight and Apex... I get it... money. My complaint is its no longer a run and gun game. Feels more like I'm hiking. Running into camper after camper. Its does take a level of skill to sit in one spot for 10 minutes waiting for the ring to close... LOL. Can you call it a first person shooter?? If all people do is holster their guns to pull out their real weapon, C4 or an RPG. You will see more gold RPG's than M4's, truly sad. Just glad Rocket League is making a comeback.
