The film pas partially filmed in Powerscourt Quebec, and the Percy Bridge is the one you see in some segments of the film. My family had a country home just up the road from the covered bridge The movie was ok, not quite Academy Award material, but watchable.

I thought it was a good show, different, and much more enjoyable that much of the garbage TV that is shown on other networks. Too bad is was cancelled.

Great series, the BBC has a good record of producing high quality shows.

Tame them both off the air. Horrible TV .

Watched it on PBS this year ( April 2021 ), excellent mini series. Too bad these types of series are "one and done", it would have been good to perhaps find out what happened to Archer after he got away.

This show set the stage for all the other shows that followed, but none can compare to this shows originality and message delivery process. TOH actually provides real, useful information as opposed to all the other "Fluff" shows that focus more on "Stainless Steel Appliances", and all the junk staging that the "Designers" use as distraction eye candy. Personally, I would rather know about the construction process, mechanical, etc... than see a lame pile of books with a flower pot on top of them. One question that I do have is, where is Norm Abram ???????
