Surprised by the relatively positive media reviews. Really don't understand how anyone can say that Craig Fairbrass is playing a different role to what he normally does, it's just the same role he always plays, i.e. scary psycho hardman who does too many drugs - essentially a caricature.
And, without giving away any spoilers, the last 20 minutes of the film leave the viewer completely in the dark as to what is going on and what the consequences are going to be, there's no finality, no climax, it's a very empty ending - at least if there was a proper ending that would have been some minor redemption.
It's basically a different twist on the Rise of the Footsoldier film genre (genre being arguably too generous) filmed in black and while, which the simpletons who enjoy such films will probably think makes them highbrow.
