This movie is the collaborative effort of hundreds of background team i.e. excluding the on-screen actors. And so the the 'alleged' crime of a single actor in a movie mustn't be the the reason for the refusal to watch a movie.
Adding to that, this movie is not a typical Dileep film, but the kind of character he really portrays - serious, a kind of genre he rarely dives into - not comedy and a response he rarely gets - a good one, jk.
The first first half of this film is overlayed with a political atmosphere while the post-intermission sequence is sprinkled with finely-tuned pieces of suspense which I personally admired (especially the climax's twist).
All this together forms an intoxicating recipe and director Arun Gopy does more than enough to ensure Ramaleela doesn't fall off the precipice it was placed in.
P.S. I'm not gonna rate it. You've got review sites for that.
