My seven year old, and I just went to see it today. I’ve watched the first one approximately 5,000 times as it came out just when she was getting into Disney movies as a toddler, as most parents can relate. Now my two year old is into the first one. So soon it will be 7,000 times. With that said, my seven year old is kind of over it but I surprised her with a “just her and I gals date.” We both agree we love it more than the first, which was an amazing movie too! I also liked it way more than I thought I would. I thought the previews looked dark but it was amazing. To me it was a cross between Frozen, Brave with the pillars, forest, horse, wisps as well as a side of Pascal from Tangled. It was a sort of prequel to their childhood with their parents, how and why Elsa got her powers, and they were a blessing and not a curse. Tons of laughing moments, as well as a few teary ones too. The visuals were great, the life lessons were on point, and importance of family and friends was emphasized. It was amazing and I can’t wait to see it again!
