I went to this movie with the heaviest of expectations. The fact that it was able to super cede anything I could imagine is genuinely nothing, next to how it was able to make me feel. The landscape of life right now is so...blatantly and overwhelming bleak. And it’s easy to lose escape in a fictional hero. But this movie is so much more than that. Yes, it fulfills our lofty expectations (and personally much more). But far more important than that this movie made my feel a sense of joy, reverence, and genuine love all but too rare. The best of cinema has always done this...but for me nothing else has ever come as close as Avengers: Endgame. It is a triumph.

This first hour of the movie may have been the saddest experience of my entire life hahahah(nervous laugh). It hits with nostalgia and the loss of childhood joy like Mike Tyson with a knockout punch. This isn’t particularly a bad thing it just reinforces Disney and Pixar’s ability to find that last remaining heartstring buried deep within you, you had no idea still remained and then play it like Flight of The Bumblebee. Thankfully the second half of the movie becomes more lighthearted but still manages to conjur a tear every ten or so minutes. Watch this movie it’s lovely. Just know, even if you’re dead inside, you will cry....
