I kept waiting for the moment when I would clutch my pearls in abject horror, the moment when the child exploitation would be too much to bear, but it never happened. There were a few scenes that I thought walked the line, but if girls are coming of age in a time when the women in pop culture are behaving in an overly sexual manner, what do you expect? If this film is really that bad, maybe it's time we took a good hard look at what we promote as revelant.
