It's one of those rare occasions when the sequel feels like it goes hand in hand with the original. Nothing can top the first Rocky, but Rocky II is a worthy continuation. You still feel Rocky's struggle as he tries to make ends meet, but fails miserably. By the time he fights Apollo again, you find yourself really caring about the character. Great performances by Stallone, Meredith and Shire. Rocky II isn't perfect, but it's still a great sequel.
