Hugh, stick to acting: your directorial skills are sadly lacking. Hours of endless tedium with the pièce de resistance being acting that increased one's lifespan because of the boredom it induced. It lacked focus, drive and concentration on the part of the director and the acting of the two leaders was tepid in the extreme.

Excellent series. It might have taken liberties with the invention of Folkwin but dramatic license is necessary. The acting was very good indeed.

I loved this series for the stellar acting skills and writing and secondly my love for East Sussex where I was born and grew up. It has beauty to make the heart sing.
