I would love to help, but I don't live in Japan so I still haven't seen it. I have however seen all the other Makoto Shinkai films, and they are nothing short of breath-taking, and I cannot tell you how excited I am for this movie to come out. I have very high expectations, considering how amazing Makoto's other films were. Can't wait!

This movie (along with all other Studio Ghibli movies) was great! The artwork is always beautiful, especially since I'm an artist and I love it. The story line is unique and amazing, and the movie is overall. Now, for younger children (ages 5-7) I would like to let parents know there are brief shots of smoking and quite a lot of blood. There are also many scenes with loud, violent gunshots and a few scenes with blood dripping into a large puddle. This movie is moderately bloody, but for kids who don't mind blood, this would be okay. I would recommend this movie for ages 8+, but for parents and kids who don't mind blood (and brief smoking) this would be a great movie to watch with the family. Overall, I'd give this movie an 11.5 out 10. GREAT MOVIE!

I kept passing this movie on Netflix, wondering if it was any good. Then, just today, I decided to try it, just because. All I have to say is wow. I got attached to the characters, (especially BeiBei-Chan and TaTa-Chan) and I laughed and felt sad throughout the movie. I loved it!
