I really enjoyed it and if you listen and watch carefully you will see Russia is not the prison we are told that it is. One moment in the movie makes a snide remark about corruption in Moscow; the people are driving Fords, BMS's, and Land Rovers; there's a sex scene near the beginning (if there were really such constraints on displays of affection would the main channel Russia 1 be airing this?) and people are using iPhones and messing around in class. Sorry I just watched it through a political lens imagining I was in Russia and how it would speak to me.
