I had fun watching this drama, however, I believe this is the first sageuk drama I have watched that has less killings which is unusual if the story is about taking the throne. The mere fact that the king is unable to produce a heir is enough reason to make the court in shambles plus the fact that the baby is not even Lee Chang's. I also felt the Queen Dowager in this drama is not powerful enough compared to other Queen Dowagers I have watched. With regards to acting, Shi Yeol & Lee Chang are the best. I have no expectations about the ending but would have been better if Lee Seol & Dan-O got married.

I really love Eunsong in this drama. Such a great actor.

Unexpected twist at the end...

I'm now on Ep16...and if only I knew that the whole 2nd part of the story would revolved around how the affairs began, I wouln't watch this. Imagine being on the last episode and yet Sa Pi Young is still clueless about his husband's affair and her mother being terminally ill plus her mother in-law having lustful feelings towards the stepson. Cringe. Dr. Shin still has no idea that his mother in-law has caused his father's death. Boo Hye Ryung being unbothered what could have been the cause why her husband fell out of love. Engineer Seo Ban's too mysterious character but doesn't add up to the story. It would have been better if he is aware of the husbands' affair. What to expect on Ep16!!! Ok...so I'm done with Ep16 and it says on the end to watch out for the Season 2 as it will exceed the expectations. Alright. I hope its sooner or later.
