This show was really awesome in it’s first 47 years. It had mostly great or good actors and characters which are mostly likeable, easy to follow storylines if you watched the stories and episodes out of order, nice costumes, great action, funny humour and special effects which got better and better as time went on. However, in 2010, when Stephen Moffat arrived, I feel he made the episodes way too complicated, and years later I had to stop watching it because I couldn’t understand what the hell was going on half the time. And the acting sadly got worse as well, especially when Peter Capaldi arrived and he was so miserable by rarely smiling and being so dark, compared to the light hearted Doctors we all knew and loved previously. But the final nail in the coffin for me, was The Doctor’s Sex changing just for the sake of political correctness. No one asked for it to be female before, so why change it after offer 50 years? It’s like making Mary Poppins or Princess Fiona male, it just kills the franchise and just fails miserably. I have made a vow I will never watch a new Doctor Who episode ever again after that, but however, I still love to watch and enjoy the earlier episodes, with many great actors, characters and stories, especially the ones with my favourite Doctor, The Third One. I really recommend you check out Jon Pertwee’s episodes the most, as his are just spectacularly acted, edited and well written. They are just so wonderful. And I strongly recommend staying as far away from this new, way too politically correct Doctor Who as far as possible.

This soap opera just does not make any sense. There are a lot of things that are just not realistic, such as Becky trying to kill Tracy and nothing being done about it. Or Steve and Michelle going straight on their honeymoon and leaving everyone behind at their wedding reception. A lot of the acting is terrible too, I mean I have nothing against the people in real life, as I am sure they are nice and I am sure they are trying, but some actresses, just come across as if they haven’t been to an acting school to be taught how to be truly convincing. The only actors I would say that do a decent performance are Ken and Roy’s actors. I enjoyed one episode where they were riding on The East Lancashire Railway, as I am a railway enthusiast. But I just find that sequence entertaining purely for the train, and for none of the actors. So overall, I think this soap opera is a complete waste of time and money. If you want a good ITV drama, check out The Titanic one. That was at least decently acted and had nice special effects.

I find a lot of his show great, but also not so great. A lot of the episodes are funny, but also a lot of the episodes are not. Same for the characters, a lot are funny and likeable, but some are just annoying or just plain mean. Some jokes work, such as Grandpa and Ralph’s stupidity, and some, such as Homer’s strangling of Bart, certainly do not. So overall, I love the show for nostalgia and of how funny the earlier episodes are, but since Season 11 there was a slight dip in quality, and it got worse after Season 20, when the episodes and characters have no longer been funny at all. So I love the early episodes, but I wish someone would just stop The Simpsons now, no matter what a certain song from the show said.

This movie is a horrible adaptation of Mario. It is nothing like the original games, and the characters and settings are totally different in both appearance and design. The story is entirely different too, and all over the place. It is full of so many plot holes caused by it’s horrible editing The acting is also really bad, especially John Leguizamo’s. I can see why he never got to be a huge actor with acting like his in the movie. The only good actor I would say is Dennis Hopper, so his scenes are the only ones I could watch without cringing too much, as I could tell he was at least trying to do a good performance, even if it didn’t turn out too well. So yeah, the only good thing is Dennis Hopper, and the rest is just something brown Mario would find whilst unclogging a toilet with his plunger.

This show was really funny and well written in it’s first five seasons. It had clever crude humour, (which will make you laugh if you are into crude comedy), and clever subtle jokes that you may not have noticed the first time. And the characters were usually likeable, and pretty funny too (especially my favourite, Chef). However, from Seasons 6 to 9, due to Chef appearing less, the episodes started to get less and less funny and more mean spirited if you ask me. I especially hated poor Butters getting abused by his parents and nothing being done about it at all. But the final nail in the coffin was when Chef died in Season 10. From that season onwards, the show was just never gentle as well as rude, since without Chef’s kindness to balance the meanness out, it has honestly become almost as crude and offensive as Family Guy did after Season 2 of it. So if you want my advice, just check out the first five seasons, those ones were pure gold. Seasons 6 to 9 were good, but not great, and Season 10 onwards is absolutely bad.

I used to love watching this show until I lost interest after the finale episode aired. But if you ever want a show for your little girls to watch if you are a parent, or if you are a guy or girl who likes cartoons with likeable characters and awesome animation, then this is the cartoon for you. You will find a lot of likeable characters, funny moments, mature morals and all sorts of great stuff in this show. You may find some bad episodes and characters (mostly from Seasons 2 to 4), but you will find that a majority of the episodes have been good, and entertaining to watch.

Terrible movie. The Rev W Awdry would have had a heart attack if he had found out this was the movie being made about his beloved characters. It is very much Americanised, with American voices for British Characters. But that is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that American Actors take up most of the screen time, and the engines are only on screen for about ten minutes of the over an hour film. The Director’s Cut may have included British Voices for the engines, and a villain that cleared up many plot holes, but even if that had been left unchanged, a lot of the film still would have been about American humans, instead of Awdry’s beloved British trains. Not even the fact that the soundtrack and model animations are nice makes up for the fact, that this is a horrible film, full of plot holes, magical stuff and American Humans taking up most of the screen time. Thomas should have had the most screen time, as his name is in the title of the movie. Britt is a nice woman, and I have nothing against her, but I think she needed to get a few priorities straight when writing Thomas’s first movie.
