Madden 21 is an improvement from Madden 20 as far as online head to head is concerned. The game play is still unacceptable. I give it 3 stars because the graphics are amazing. So amazing that the poor game play is inexcusable. Trying to create competition by scripting the outcome of games is something for offline play, not online, especially when there is a ranking. I shouldn't have to lose to someone who lacks skill but is benefiting from my drop balls, overthrows, lack of blocking, and rookie mode AI defensive play. This does not allow those who lack skill to improve. The footwork, machanics, and animations mimic the play of a pee wee football player. Get it together EA sports. Stick to the model "if it's in the game...it's in the game." If you buy this game, just know that you will be disappointed.
