Visually stunning.. Storyline was far below expectations... Dune is not a love story. It is a Political-Ecological-Class Level masterpiece.. and we have a touch of those with the never ending visions of Chani.. sigh.. I wanted deeper detail in the internal battles within the characters as the mentally spoke to a consciousness. Instead we had amazing visuals and a watered down storyline in attempt to fit the masses. I know its all about the money in the end but the purist in me really wanted to revisit the complexity of this novel..
