No! This movie was trash. The characters were weak and unlikable. Extremely predictable within 15 mins into the movie. The sex scene was beautiful and Mea's outfits were incredible but that was just it. Pass. Huge pass.

Spoilers! I read this because of all the hype. This book was beautifully written but the plot was extremely disappointing. It lacked interesting characters and the love story lasted a bit too long in the beginning. I developed no empathy for anyone. The feuid amongst Agamemnon and Achilles was weak and childish, holding grudges, risking the lives of others. It did not feel believable. I don't believe Patroclus would have done as well as he had in the war there at the end either. I was more angered by his war actions than sad about his death, he was reckless and I felt his death was deserving. This brought the rating down a lot for me.
But, one thing I did like was how she ended it was with Thetis and Patroclus's longing for Achilles. Still, I could not recommend this one.
