I've never written a review for a movie before but I felt compelled to warn others before they spend their money on this movie. Within the first 5 minutes, the poor writing and acting gave me a gut feeling that I should walk away but the trailer was so good I thought it must get better. WRONG. The trailer was and is the only good thing about this movie. Oh man oh man, I was LAUGHING at the most "scary" parts of the movie because everything was such thinley veiled commentary on society: the beautiful lady who turns ugly and twisted with age, the parents who fight but realize what really matters is eachother, the successful surgeon who's actually crazy and racist etc. The movie gave me content whiplash. Literally, you could not go 2 minutes without the characters screaming for attention on a different issue. If you feel a need to watch this movie, go ahead, but don't watch it in theatres and definitely don't expect it to be any kind of thriller. I spent more time proofreading and editing this review than the writers did making this movie. Great concept, poorly executed.
