The concept of GOD using an atheist to help people who, through a "friend request," are about to run into a troubling situation was a great selling point of "God Friended Me." I watched the entire first season "religiously" and was hooked! I wasn't as passionate to watch season two but I will be now that the show is entering its final season. Honestly, I felt this show would have a short shelf life on TV but it has been a great ride, nonetheless. I hate to see it go but I understand why the show must come to a close. Thanks to the creators and producers of "God Friended Me" for giving the world a great hour of drama that focused on helping one another even when that person doesn't recognize they really need help.
