If you don't draw a comparison with the original one and watch it with a vacuum and clear head space then, you will realise how beautiful this movie is. We, most of the Indians always tend to compare things, which ruins the things eventually. See it as an individual movie and LSC is completely different movie from FG, keeping the template of the plot same. I watched it, keeping all the negative points in my mind which I got to hear and see from Social Media, so that I could testify how far all these things are true. And I find that people have exaggerated the things from this movie like hell. 1st, I didn't feel like Aamir has constantly behaved and acted over the top throughout the movie, which people have mentioned. Yes, there are very few instances, where his expression does seem more like PK/Samar but apart from that you would definitely feel like it's a completely different character and the way the character (Laal's) transition (in terms of voice, mannerism, way of talking, body language, stupidity, maturity) has been carried out by Aamir throughout the movie, is just beautiful to watch. He has done a very good job in that. 2nd, some people are saying that the Chaddi Baniyan joke gets very irritating after one point of time, which is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. It has its limitations to one point. So, here again people have over exaggerated the things. 3rd, People are finding it ridiculous that how does a terrorist gets away and stays in India without getting caught. So, to answer this, I would say those who has seen the war scene carefully, they might have noticed that the character was mistaken (by army people and local people) as one of the Local Kashmiri who helped the army tracing the invaders. He also didn't reveal his real identity to anyone except Laal, as he believed in his (Laal's) innocence which saved his life. 4th, in the movie, there IS NO DIALOGUE BY AAMIR, WHICH SAYS "PUJA PAATH SE MALARIA HOTA HAI". He says "Mazhab se Malaria Hota Hai". Again this one is clear agenda by negative people to spread negativity about this movie by misguiding people with false information. 5th, the 2nd half is not that slow, the way people have mentioned about it. And talking about the 2nd half being boring, to be very honest I didn't find it boring at all. True and genuine movie lovers (who love to watch movies irrespective of movie genres) would not find it terribly slow or even boring. All in all, it's a beautiful movie and those who are not watching it, they are missing a beautiful thing to experience in theatres. And those who's finding it illogical and problematic, I hope I have answered them to some extent and rest things (which are less than few) should not be taken so seriously as it's a movie and that's why they have shown a long disclaimer from the beginning of the movie where they have stated they've taken few cinematic liberty here n there. A movie is meant to be enjoyed, experienced, to feel the characters emotions and relate to it. So BETTER TREAT A MOVIE AS A MOVIE NOT A MATERIAL TO CHANNELISE HATRED TO FULFILL YOUR AGENDA.
