This film broke and rebuild me withing the short space of the watching it for the first time. I've always never really had a favourite , but for sure now I have a favourite. Amandla Sternberg deserves an Oscar for her star character , I felt every single emotion of hers. She took my heart to places it's never been before. This movie reminded me of that power in that was lost along the way and because of this movie I've regained my voice. Honestly I'm going to keep re-watching it for years to come and I'm gonna shed a tear all the time . It's touching because it wasn't fantasy but it the reality of black people more especially black people in "hoods" it's touched the stereotype s that come with being black and I feel in some way this movie is more like the voice to the voiceless it's speaks out about similar incidents that have been happening lately and it more like a silent cry on how the world needs to change on how black lives matter in my opinion this deserves 5 Oscar awards/nominees and more I wouldn't rate it for anything less than a total score
