This a great picture considering it's about African American fighter pilots during WW II. It's ALWAYS going to be controversy whenever it comes to race, and this movie dipicts the same things no matter what era it's in! Nevertheless this motion picture shows the true value of what the people of color can do when faced with such adversities as a person and as a whole race. No one understands the true nature of what it is that drives us to do what we do when it comes to these terms but know this, if a animal gets pushed in a corner and had nowhete else to go but out that corner straight ahead then our life is looked upon that theory. We is gonna fight to the end no matter what the circumstances or consequences are and we is gonna prevail! I'm African American and I served this country in the US Marines, and I still have that honor and respect from those "Tuskegee Airmen" from Alabama and aroun the United States. I also had the pleasure to meet and greet some that still alive today through the VA Hospital here iny city, so much respect do from and to ALL of those brothers who served in the military THEN and NOW!!!!
