When I first started watching this show, I thought it would be another family sitcom type show, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not. The show is really fun to watch. I'm always interested in what shenanigans Nick will go through and how she will deal with everything, especially the moments when she's close to being caught and has to come up with something. I love seeing everything through Nick's perspective. We get to see her struggle between feeling angry at the Thompsons' for what they did (which we don't learn till later in the series) and feeling loved by them. We get to see her have to choose between helping herself and her father, while potentially hurting the Thompsons,' or not being able to help her father. All this makes Nick a very, very interesting character that you be come really invested in. I also love the family element of this show. Throughout the series, we watch as Nick begins to grow on the Thompsons,' and more importantly, how they grow on her. This causes her to often have difficulty doing the things she's forced to do. This also makes it more painful to watch when any of the Thompsons tell Nick they love her, that Nick is their best friend, etc. All the main family members are great, particularly Ed. He's always, always supportive of Liz, and he loves Nick like his own. He's the backbone of the family. Overall, great show. Very binge-able. The Season 2 ending was great, and I would be satisfied if that was the show's end, but I'm really, really crossing my fingers that there's another season or two.

Amazing show. It's been exactly two years since the show ended, and I'm still scratching my head wondering why Disney would cancel this show. I'm not someone who laughs often, but this show had a lot of genuinely funny moments. I probably got the most laughs from Cory, Zay, Eric, and Farkle. The meta moments were also hilarious. Aside from the comedic aspects of this show, Girl Meets World had a lot of great lessons to offer. Sure, sometimes the message was skewed with comedy meant for younger children, but there was always a point to each episode. And, the characters. I can't begin to describe how interesting and lovable each of these characters are. They all have their ups and downs, but most (with the exception of Lucas) are extremely well developed and intriguing. The relationships on the show are also really important, with Riley and Maya's friendship being a core aspect that is done really well. My favorite romantic relationship would have to be Farkle and Smackle, and my least favorite would have to be Riley and Lucas. Despite being a sequel, this show never fails to acknowledge that it is it's own show with it's own unique cast of characters. It's a million times better than garbage like Bizaardvark and K.C Undercover, mainly because it manages to teach good stories without being repetitive. It also helps that Cory is such a good teacher. Like most fans, I believe it ended too early and that Disney made a huge mistake. There's another okay Disney show going on called Andi Mack, but I feel like it's extremely overdramatic for the sake of being dramatic, and most of the characters are utter garbage. Girl Meets World is simple but effective, and I truly do miss it. Now we can only really speculate about what happens to them later on. My favorite episodes are: Girl Meets Father, Girl Meets Flaws, Girl Meets the Forgotten, Girl Meets Brother, Girl Meets Farkle's Choice, Girl Meets Gravity, Girl Meets The Secret of Life, Girl Meets Mr.Squirrels Goes to Washington, Girl Meets The New Teacher, Girl Meets Creativity, Girl Meets I Am Farkle, Girl Meets Rileytown, Girl Meets Rah Rah, Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project, Girl Meets Money, Girl Meets the Bay Window, Girl Meets Permanent Record, Girl Meets Upstate, Girl Meets the Great Lady of New York, Girl Meets I Do, Girl Meets Bear, and Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen.
