It's easy to binge this show because it is an absolute train wreck. It is entertaining, with that said it's also an awful show by almost every metric. The overall plot is unbelievable. The universe this story is taking place in is unbelievable. The characters, their personality and emotional responses are unbelievable. The problems and causes behind the never ending drama is unbelievable. The resolutions to the problems encountered are unbelievable. This show caters to a certain kind of viewer, it has nothing to do with sci-fi. If you're the kind of person that gets invested or takes the world your entertainment exists in seriously, you'll hate this show. If characters totally breaking canon doesn't register as a problem to you, this show will be fine. On the other hand, if Universes need to be consistent or rational for you to enjoy them, we'll, you'll likely find this show to be completely awful. The whole show revolves around a wiring style where drama, conflict and suspense aren't the products of well crafted events or serious issues that jeopardize the mission and the crew. Rather, every character and plot point is dumbed down so much that anything (including things going according to plan) are treated as cataclysmic events. You dont need to write a compelling story when you can make the crew so stupid that any issue is a full blown red alert situation. That's what you get with this show, an entire Universe where everyone is dumb. Everything is dramatic for the sake of drama and each episode rides a wave of incompetence because that's the true plot of the show, everyone just makes the absolute worst decision at every oppurtunity.
