This is actually my favorite of the Cars movies despite the ratings! As a kid I was obsessed with this film the action scenes were awesome, the humour was funny enough, and I remember buying most of the toys and merchandise from the movie. And yeah the actual plotline sounds like a “car-ified” version of James Bond, centering on an investigation of the dangerous and deadly gasoline being used in the races. But like I said it is Pixar’s worst film (according to rotten tomatoes ratings) that I think pixar themselves try to forget the movie, cause not even a single character nor event from cars 2 was ever brought up in cars 3. So in conclusion a kid would definitely enjoy this, but if you’re like a long time pixar filmatic, prepare for some questioning.
