If you really felt compelled to cover The Freedom Convoy 2022; I suggest that you could have included a “real” conversation with at least one of the many representatives of the numerous trucker groups that are currently available for a conversation in the province of Ontario. Broadcasting a private “Liberal” conversation between 4 CBC reporters in-house that have obviously no unbiased opinions or knowledge of what the Freedom Convoy really represents is pathetic. This movement has sparked the “hope” of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of citizens around the World. A hope that dwindled away ever so silently; lockdown by lockdown over a span of 2 years. What started off as a Canadian stand for personal freedom of choice and liberties, has grown into a Convoy of unity, renewed hope and brotherly love. It is so sad that you had nothing positive to contribute to the conversation that is occurring. That, in my opinion, is part of what is wrong in this World. CBC, and all other mainstream media outlets in Canada and throughout the world; have been bought out by the mighty dollar and have forgotten what it is to report the truth with integrity, honesty and yes, sometimes, to offer a little bit of hope in tough times. You have again failed on all accounts, and for this reason, I will continue my fast on watching any mainstream media; as it is of no positive influence to my life.
