Simply mind- blowing and worth each moment of time spent!!! Just finished watching it and simply could not stop the tears from falling for the gross injustice done to a great visionary and his family, and for the pain they must have gone through. Even though all ends well, we cannot even imagine what they all must have gone through and the trauma they endured. We are all deeply sorry Sir. The story was so engrossing that I completely forgot my surroundings for a while. Thank you Mr. Madhavan for bringing Mr. Nambi Narayanan's story to us and congratulations for your excellent portrayal.

The movie "Chhapaak" evoked emotions which felt very raw and thought provoking. The story line was well developed and Deepika portrayed the victim's role with great depth and precision. The movie will help to create awareness that even though significant steps have been taken to provide justice to the victims of acid attacks, much more needs to be done to curb this menace. The perpetrators in their misguided notions of revenge and honour forget that their momentary lapse of judgement can ruin the entire life of their victims. Besides, it also brought to light the role that parents and guardians can play in helping prevent such a tragedy from occurring by providing their children with an open environment in which they will be able to share their doubts and apprehension regarding any situation.
