compelling to the highest degree, entertaining visually and mentally (given that the struggles of certain characters do not escape you emotionally) sometimes hilarious, sometimes woeful unto tears, and more than once, i myself wanted to stand up and cheer! hard pressed to pick a favourite vignette, i will instead embrace them all and bid you try and "feel" this movie rather than simply watch it. its commercial reception is absurd, but we literally live in a world of the same type that sonmi fought to survive, thus denigrating them all in their collected reflection. ignore the critics and give up 3 hours of your life to complete magic.
