The movie is good, nothing ordinary I thought it was going to be along the lines of slender man ( I still don’t understand that one). At first I was confused by the woman in all black. I thought Julia was psycho. After reading the plot twist it all made sense

I liked the movie alot but I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the fact there wasn't any background story, as far as her up bringing, family, friends. I feel like there could have been so much more. I watched the Bessie Smith story starring Queen Latifah and you really don't know anymore about Ma Rainey then from that movie.
