This album sounds incredibly modern for a folk independent group. Although renegated by its own composers, and rediscovered only half a decade later by web users, the medieval appearance of the songs is made accessible through contemporary musical structures. The poliphony common to that age's musical activity is interpreted in a "pre-apocalyptic" manner, as defined by the liner notes of their only album "The Shape of Medieval Music to Come". Songs like ''Rókatánc" and the folklore song La Suite Meurtrière could be described as "medieval hard rock", while the seminal seven-minutes-long Stella Splendens seems like it was made by a melancholic and instrospective Spanish troubador. The last number, supposedly composed by Hieronymous Bosch, is a great closing showcase to group's proposal.
