Why is it that everyone now seems to yearn for an overbearing definition in every single aspect of life, then they take no time to actually examine the point of whatever’s going on. This movie is amazing and is the first in a long time for me that a movie has made me feel something. To put it short I think it more than did what it was set out to do in reissuing the common idiom “the glass is half full, not half empty.” I don’t believe that in order for something to be great it needs an overarching amount of complexity. This puts in our faces how simple life really is and how much more stressful we make it. In no way do I think the intention of this film was to be another Cheech and Chong stoner film. I think it goes with acceptance that weed has become engrained within modern day society. When other reviewers say this movie has no plot, that is simply their lack of understanding in the character. I honestly feel as though if this came out a decade and a half ago it would have gotten the most praise. But that was clearly not the directors intention. This is not a film for everyone but really the select few that are able to relate to the main protagonist. Forest Gump is now my second favorite movie after seeing this. Go for feeling, and be open when viewing this film. I hope this helped.
