I usually love Amy and Tina, but this was hard to watch. The dialogue was mediocre, the entire movie was predictable, and I laughed out loud exactly three times. It's really a shame that women are reduced to bickering, talking about all their problems while drinking wine and not having enough funny lines to make up for all the cringe-worthy drama.
I understand the audience for this was late 40s and up, but damn. I did not get one reference or know one song and they played a LOT of songs. Note to directors:
music does not make up for lazy writing.
I loved all the scenery. The did a beautiful job showing off Napa.
I do not recommend this movie at all. If I want to see Amy or Tina at their finest, I'll rewatch 30 Rock and Parks & Rec.
