This is straight up propaganda. Extremely inaccurate bilge designed to rile up woke culture.

The message of this show is unironically that racism is best met with racism. In an effort to own the long-dead Lovecraft, the creators of this show portray white people as the ultimate evil as some kind of revenge for a history of black people being racistly portrayed as beasts and monsters. Even without the tasteless themes, the story was largely disjointed and often uninteresting. It resorts to gratuitous gore, sex scenes, and outrageous murders to distract from the plot holes.
