In a word - boring! If you expect this film to have dialogue and scenes actually coalescing around a semblance of a plot and leading up to a significant climax and the closure of a gripping story-line, prepare to be disappointed. If you expect pretty vignettes of 60's Hollywood in an overlong film replete with typical Tarantino-isms like non-linear story-telling, rampant cursing, eccentric characters, and sudden bouts of violence, you will leave, if not satisfied, at least having experienced all of that.

Amazing visuals, excellent acting, great tension. One niggle is that the film ends without placing Dunkirk in the larger WW2 history.
