This is easily one of the most unique novels I’ve ever read. It's about a psychic space alien experiencing alienation while studying various people who alienate themselves and each other through language, with language itself described as a sort of alien parasite. But in a weird way, it’s also about the reader and the act of reading. We’ve all been infected with an incurable case of hyperlexic holomorphasites! This novel is wildly experimental, uninhibitedly satirical, funny, and tempered with a bit of sadness. Guaranteed to make you laugh out loud during some sections, and sit there quietly contemplating yourself and existence during others. Bottom line, Gorb is Gorb.
