Can someone explain to me why the tangled plot seemed to be confusing? I don't know if I did not get it. But surely, I did not get it in the end. Why was the brother-in-law conspiring against her? Why did she stick with his husband? And why is she tangled in a business of so long ago? There's a lot of plot holes here. First, if the husband is a powerful judge, then, why was he not able to get good background check of his intern? He could have known that this person had been a scion of whom they put into jail. Why did the brother-in-law conspired with this intern who eventually got an affair with the judge's wife? If the judge knew his brother has sexual relationship with his mistress, why did he just shot him and why not kill him? And i believe the brother of the judge knew who shoot him because there is only one person who will do that and that is the lover of his mistress. Why did he not take grudge against his brother?

The metaphors being used are so sublime. I was thinking that this is straight Bruce Lee like movie in a body of a geek. But there is a subtle plot twist that was totally satisfying yet surprising.

At first, I thought this is another gangster movie. But then, the dialogues and the twists hold my attention dearly. And the ending is a little bit surprising. If you're going to hold on to that belief that this is another tragedy, the ending is in much better position.

I felt that the geeky and the apathetic part of the characters are just overly done. The presence of mountain Lion is like a deus ex machina position and without it, this could have been a very blunt and boring conversation that may be too highfalutin.

I finished the whole series contented and could 've wanted for more. Yet, it all ends where it all begins, order to chaos to order. The mix of many actors and the slick screenplay and writing could easily made it a classic. The themes dabbles on modern family and relationship and its complexities. Yet, it always remain true that whatever the circumstances, its that familial bond that would matter in the end. Netflix Paris-themed television are always a wonder. Yet, Paris is not just an eye candy for viewers here unlike Emily In Paris. It definitely shows what a Parisienne life and their passion for arts, fashion, and of course cinema. I never realized the depth of French talent though few are recognizable.

The movie is a regular 90s action genre with all those explosions and car chases. An imposing image from big studios saying we can bomb cars and explode things coz we have the money. Almost 20 years after, nothing makes sense. The encryption lingo is poorly splashed on. Also, hacking is not fast typing. So, u don't think it is merely about who has the fastest finger. And while hacking graphics helped visualize to non-techie viewers, it would have helped if they feature more about command line. And ironically, bank wires does not work in a split of a second. So, it does not make sense at all. Millennials will find this movie a remnant of 90s action film junk.
