Above average buddy/ gambling/road movie. Atmospheric, beautifully photographed journey through the South via bars, pool halls, motels and casinos.. Believable characters, excellent performances especially from Mendelsshon as the washed up divorcee about 2 years away from cardboard city. Sounds depressing, but there's a hopeful ending.
